The Killers react to 'The Man' being named Radio 1's Hottest Record Of The Year Brandon Flowers and band beat the likes of Liam Gallagher, Royal Blood, Lorde and Wolf Alice to the Hottest Record Of The Year prize, as voted for by Radio 1 listeners. Host Annie Mac described the song as "a very sassy and sexy record, brimming with bravado" that was "fully deserving" of the feat.
